Spiritual Show & Tell
Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 8:00 am in Bauer Hall
“But, he answered, “It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.” ~ Matthew 4:4
Through various technologies, we have a wide variety of resources to nourish our spiritual growth. What book, magazine, article, website, podcast, APP or blog do you use in your faith journey?
This month’s meeting is a group participation event where you are asked to share your Spiritual Go-To Resources! We can learn so much those around us; share your favorite resources to enrich everyone!
What is the resource? Bring it along to show, if possible. URLs can be displayed on television. Tell how you found it? How you use it? Why it helps you!
Marthas & Marys is a women’s social group united in faith supporting one another to find the courage to allow God to satisfy our spiritual hunger and to guide our hearts and lives. Join us on Saturday, June 18 at 8:00 am in Bauer Hall for a time of community, reflection, discussion and fun. No assignments to complete or homework. Just time with other women. All women are welcome.

Our Purpose
Growing in faith is the work of the Church. It was the heart of Jesus' own mission to help us human beings connect with our divine source, to help us age with goodness, wisdom and peace, and to help us build and live in the reign of God. The Church seeks to help us live with purpose and meaning by connecting what we believe with how we live, and how we live in community. Thus, we may connect our own inborn hunger for God with our tendency to attempt to satisfy that hunger in ways that do not lead to meaning, these alternate paths may include greed, seeking power, or overuse of earth's resources. The way of faith, on the other hand, leads us to find the courage to allow God to satisfy our hunger and to guide our hearts and lives. We may connect ourselves to those within our households, but also in our neighborhoods and world. We may connect questions we have about the tough moral decisions we face with the guidance of Scripture and the Church and the wisdom or our own elders.
Simply put, we are striving to become a women's social group united in faith.
