  Dear Faith Formation Families,
  
  It’s hard to believe that we have passed the one year mark of the pandemic. I remember thinking last year that all would be well after the two weeks of quarantine last March. To say this past year was difficult would be an understatement. We are grateful for all our families and their commitment to their children’s faith formation. As we continue to journey and emerge while rejoicing in the Resurrection of Jesus renewing us and our world, we are also renewing plans to help you continue your child’s faith formation.  Please read below for registration instructions.
  
  Registration is a two step process. Part one can be made online at https://paterson.parishsoftfamilysuite.com/.  For returning families, please use the Username and Password you created last year in order to login.  If you have forgotten either one, you can click on Lost Password and it will email your Username and Password.  All new families will must sign in and wait 1-3 days for the new account to be approved.  New families will then receive an email to log back into the system to select the sessions.  To register for a session: select My Own Church; Faith Formation; and Online Registration.  Here, you can indicate the desired sessions for each child:  1^st or 2^nd session for grades K-8 and session 3 for grades 9 & 10.  If there is more than one class at a session, you may select any one that is not full.  It is important to fill out the special learning needs and health/medical needs for each child. Finally, please print the attached payment and volunteer forms and return them along with your check* made payable to St. Matthew the Apostle Parish, by August 13, 2021. There is also an option to pay by credit card online at
  https://stmatthewsrandolph.churchgiving.com/2021FaithFormationPayment. Below are the session times and fee table for the 2021-22 school year.  Forms may also be accessed at www.stmatthewsrandolph.org.  Please note that registration is not complete until both online registration and payment form are received at the Faith Formation office.*
  *If you need to delay payment or discuss financial matters, kindly indicate by checking the appropriate box on the payment form and return to us as indicated above in order to complete the registration and enable us to hold a place for your child(ren).
  
  Faith Formation Class Sessions
  Students are required to attend a minimum of 25 hours of Faith Formation each year to meet Diocesan guidelines.  Faith Formation classes meet approximately 2 times per month from September to March.  Children are brought to mass by their catechist where parents are welcomed and encouraged to meet them to celebrate mass together.

  Tuition for 2021-2022 is $175 per child plus Sacramental fees of $50 if applicable. Catechists will receive a $50 family tuition discount for the year.  Note that you will find a line item on the payment form which provides the opportunity to make a voluntary donation to the St. Matthew’s Faith Formation program to assist families in need of scholarship.
